Value Added Course was conducted on 'NUMERICAL ANALYSIS USING ANSYS WORKBENCH' from (30/07/19 to 08/08/19 & 03/08/19, 31/08/19) in our institution. The course was handled by, Mr.G.R.Iyappan, Assistant Professor (O.G) -Civil and Mr.A.Sattainathan Sharma, Assistant Professor (O.G) –Civil, Ms.S.Bhuvaneshwari, Assistant Professor (O.G) –Civil.
Students of Final Year Civil were involved in the ‘Preparation of Base Map, Property and Utility Mapping and Door to Door survey using Geo Spatial Techniques for Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC)’ on internship basis on the project to collect the utility data for 150 wards at the cost of 8000 per 2 Sq.m on 13.08.19. The project cost is 12 lakhs.
The students of Final Year UG and PG participated and presented a paper in ‘IEI Tamilnadu Centenary Technical Conference on Disruptive Technology and its Application’. A total of 21 students attended the same conducted by IEI, Tamilnadu from 19.08.19 to 22.08.2019. M.Roshini, a student of PG final year secured the runner up position for the best paper.
M.Roshini, T.Manbuselvan, S. Sharon Rose, K.Muthu Ganesh, T.Priya, D.Pragathi, M.B.Aishwarya and K.Arthi, Y.Kavitha Jothi students of M.E Structural Engineering participated and presented a paper in th 'International Conference on ‘Smart Automation in Computer, Electrical ,Electronics and Communication Engineering (ICSA 2K19)' on 06.09.2019 held at SRM Valliammai Engineering College. For the same event, K.Muthu Ganesh was awarded first place and T.Manbuselvan third place (Track3: Mech/Civil).
